HOTEL SANT'ANGELO, Rome – Your ideal downtown stay

Despite being in another building with no amenities, the hotel made up for that small inconvenience. The room was very dated and gloomy in the bathroom, even considering the quality of the hotel. The service was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, perfect for long walks and good restaurants. The location offers easy access to Vatican City and the old city, as well as shopping options. The dining experience was good overall, but tended to start slightly later than advertised. The hotel is situated on a Main Street, which can be noisy in the early morning.

The hotel was lovely, and the bed was very comfy, neat, and simple, which was perfect for a hotel in Rome. It is super clean and comfortable. The service was amazing, brilliant, and so friendly and accommodating, offering early check-in at no extra cost, which is super helpful, especially for a big family. The location could not be beaten, with major tourist attractions within a 10-15 minute walk. The dining experience was just enough, offering a variety of snacks and beverages to start the day. The hotel facilities were exceptional, offering a range of amenities for a pleasant stay.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were decently sized and clean, being directly above a noisy restaurant made for a disruptive night with road traffic sounds. The staff, however, were very friendly and eager to assist with any unexpected issues. Location-wise, it was central to many attractions in Rome, but the small street can lead to waiting inconveniences. The dining experience was simple, offering basic options without anything special. Overall, a comfortable stay with some drawbacks.
